Grape Varieties: 100% Tempranillo.
Harvest: first half of September.
Production: Manually harvested and selected from our oldest vineyards. Long maceration of the grapes during fermentation at temperature of 24-25º C, before subsequent aging for twelve months in mixed oak barrels (French oak bottoms and American oak staves). It spends at least two years in the bottle before going onto the market.
Tasting notes: Cherry red and slightly tile-coloured, with upper middle layer, well covered. On the nose, we find a wine with great finesse, with great aromatic complexity. Spicy, balsamic notes stand out from aging in the barrel, along with very pleasant roasted notes of coffee and mocha. In the mouth, the wine is very round, smooth and elegant, with very sweet tannins. It is very persistent in the mouth.
Service temp.: 16-18º C.
