From the wood to your cup

The stillness, the silence, the aromas, where time stops to provide new roasted, vanilla, leather flavors. The temple in which the wine ages, resting its soul and calming down after the frenetic production process.

Aging: time, stillness and waiting

Subsequently, in the case of wines with wood, these are introduced into barrels. After achieving the texture, aromas and nuances desired for each type of wine (oak, aging or reserve) with the wood, they are bottled and deposited in cages so that they rest for the appropriate time until they are released on the market.
Special mention and care is given to our classic cencibel in bush vines, from vineyards over 50 years old, with which the best wines that are destined for reserves are obtained.
Currently we have a climate-controlled warehouse with a constant temperature and the necessary humidity for this aging to occur optimally. 3,000 American and French oak barrels and cages are found there.
Depending on the time in barrels and bottle, we make 3 types of wines:
> Oak: 2 to 5 months in barrel.
> Ageing: 6 months in the barrel and a total of 18 months between barrel and bottle.
> Reserve: 12 months in barrel and a total of 36 months between barrel and bottle.

Bottling: pampering down to the last detail

WE TAKE CARE OF EVERY DETAIL, PUTTING GREAT PASSION AT THE END OF THE PROCESS, SAVING, PROTECTING AND PRESERVING THE ELABORATED ELIXIR, PLAYING AN ESSENTIAL ROLE IN QUALITY CONTROLS, OF BOTH MATERIALS AND FINISHED PRODUCT.
The bottling production area is located in a 4,600 m2 warehouse in which two areas of equal dimensions are distinguished:
A temperature controlled storage of the finished product and auxiliary materials, mainly bottles.
Production plant itself, where the glass bottling line and the bag in box packaging line are located. By the beginning of the year we will have another bottling line for carbonated wines.
With 50 years of experience bottling wines, we can offer an integral service to the client, both with our brands and with personalized brands. We work with important food chains and distributors who entrust us with the bottling of their brands.
We offer great versatility in formats, materials, dimensions, to suit the client, taking charge, in most cases, of the purchase of each of the auxiliary materials that your product carries.
The bottling line for glass bottles has machines from the most important manufacturers in the market and it is worth highlighting the quality controls that we carry out with an ARTIFICIAL VISION EQUIPMENT. Which captures a 360º image of each and every one of the bottles that pass through the bottling line, rejecting those bottles that are not within the standards selected in the machine, thus avoiding the exit of bottles that could present defects. in labelling, encapsulation…etc. We also have a box weigher as a new check of the already boxed product.
The line is prepared to work around 8,000 b/h.

BAG IN BOX, FROM THE GRAPE TO THE TABLE
The bag in box packaging line is also fully automated, we can work in 3L, 5L and 10L formats, as well as study others according to projects.
The performance of the line depends on the product to be packaged, but it ranges between 400 – 650 bags in boxes per hour.
Something that differentiates us from most of the competition is that we are one of the few bag-in-box packers that produce wine directly from our vineyards, fully controlling product traceability.

QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

At Bodegas Yuntero we consider essential the development of a Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System, based on the Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and in the BRC and IFS Food Safety Protocols, in order to certify the safe production of our wines, complying with the legal and regulatory requirements that are applicable in our wine production, aging, bottling and marketing activities, and with those established by the client, and other requirements that the organization subscribes, related to its environmental aspects and occupational health and safety hazards.

The Winery supports all staff in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the system, considering each worker as the protagonist of the most important phase of the service of a company of recognized Quality, also promoting responsibility towards the environment.
